Matthew Forrest

Matthew Forrest

Associate Professor of Art

Forrest’s research has been been published recently in both print and digital formats including studio visit magazine, and he has been the recipient of several grants to make printmaking more accessible to students with disabilities and to local community centers in Baldwin & Bibb counties. Receiving his BFA from SRU of Pennsylvania in 2005, Forrest also studied at the Poznan Academy of Art in Poland. Forrest received his MFA from West Virginia University 2008. He is committed to helping support community engagement in the arts ,expanding literacy and art in Baldwin county is his current focus.

Lead Project Designer

Claire O’Neill is a junior at Georgia College and State University majoring in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design and minoring in marketing. She is scheduled to graduate in May 2023. Claire is lead project designer for the Little Libraries of Baldwin County project. She is also a freelance graphic designer.

Cynthia Ward-Edwards

Cynthia Ward-Edwards

Executive Director of Baldwin County Family Connection

Cynthia Ward-Edwards is a native of Milledgeville and
attended both Baldwin County and GMC Prep Schools. She holds a
Master's Degree in Public Administration and is working on Doctorate in Public Administration.
Cyndee is married to Allen V. Edwards Sr., 24 years and they have one son, Allen Edwards Jr. She retired from Baldwin County Parks and Recreation, Program Director and worked after retirement as the Director for The Salvation Army.
Cyndee is also the President and District 10 Coordinator for NAACP as well as serving on several boards.
Currently she is a member and the Business Manager of the Female Motorcycle club, Iron GEMZ and
her ride name is “Queen Suga”. She believes that we are all the fabric that binds the community with different shapes, colors, and social economic backgrounds and her motto is “You are your only limit

Leslie Calvert

Leslie Calvert

Lead Project Designer

Leslie Calvert is an art major with a concentration in graphic design at Georgia College and State University. She is scheduled to graduate in December 2022. Leslie is the lead project designer for the Little Libraries of Baldwin County project. She is also currently the Communications Intern at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Roswell, Georgia.
